Introduction
On behalf of our leader, Ani, I would like to welcome you to the Realm of Dreams. We are a Role Play site and like many others out there we are a kind community. We love to do things the right way and enjoy role playing to the fullest, but then again who doesn't? We are providing you a site in which you may role play as well as ourselves. That means there are bound to be rules, but please note these are for you as much as they are for us.
We reserve the right to change our rules or add new ones at any time. This is to be expected if a reason calls for such an action. There will be a new message in this thread announcing the update each time one is made.

Rules of the Forum
Keep it PG-13 Keep in mind that there are eyes of all ages on this site, so post the appropriate language, images and links. If you have a question about whether or not an image is appropriate, message a staff member for confirmation. I would like to take a moment to explain why the name is what it is. Ani named the site before realizing the full rules of Proboards, and she is sorry if you got the wrong impression. You must follow the ToS after all.
Thread Rules
When you create your thread you are forming a bond with this forum, once you have created a thread it is your job to keep it alive and well. If you realize someone has not posted, send them a PM or email. It is also your job to recruite and find people for your RP. If you fail to do so, your role play will die. This will cause it to be moved to the recycled section, or archive which will be made later. If you wish to revive a role play, you must go to said area.
100% Legal Material
Please do not download, post, or use any "free" or any warez program. Those who do so will end up being banned from the site.
Spam Everyone has a sense of what is on and off topic, please keep that in mind as you post throughout the forum. For example, do not write something about loving iced cream in an out of character sense in a fantasy role play. Posting spam in the game area, or general conversation is considered accepted.
Images Please do not post images that distort or stretch the screen. We are trying to keep the site looking good, so if you violate this your image will be deleted. Try to keep the images in the following proportions: 230x630.
Private Messages 1. Respect everyone within the posting system. No harassment will be tolerated. 2. Do not provide links to any site in Private messages 3. Do not send SPAM to the users 4. You may use adult material in personal messages. 5. Keep in mind there are under aged individuals on this site!
Harassment Treat everyone on this site with the utmost respect. No harassment will be tolerated. This includes flaming, racial batter, and bullying. If I(or another Mod) see you are doing this, you will most likely be embarrassed and then banned forever. If I see you doing it, I'll make sure you're never seen here again.
Board Rules If a board or topic has specific rules to follow, please follow them. All thread masters have the right to remove a user from their RP, and you must respect that if it happens to you. If you throw a childish fit, you could get banned.
Recycling We have no problem with you recycling a role play from another site, however make sure that you give that site credit and the role player credit if it is asked from either the site of the user. Reviving role plays is a way to get people interested without taking much time, however, do not make a habit of using only recycled RPs.
Disciplinary Actions All staff members have the right to warn, ban, or delete your account if you disregard the rules above. Respect your staff and do not argue with them if they proceed to give you a warning or ban, they are here to help, not hurt. All of the punishments given by staff are final decisions; do not try to butter up another staff member to get your way.
Be Respectful to the Staff This means when you are talking to myself or another staff member, you must show some respect. We are not asking that you treat us differently than other people. Just do not come at us like we're lower than you. I must also ask that you do not bother any of the staff about problems you have with what other users are doing, or if you're used to something else. We're not going to make people change things to simply accommodate you. There are exceptions to this if something is being done 'wrong', but otherwise no.
Our Rights We as staff have the authority to change the rules as much as we want to see that the site is remaining in our opinion well organized. If there are problems, we will be adjusting the rules promptly after the problem has occurred.

Bothering the Staff
Eventually we will have enough staff members that at least one of them will be on when you are. However it would be more sensible if you spoke to a moderator who was offline rather than bothering an admin or moderator who happens to be busy working or dealing with another problem.
Please only bother the moderators, and global moderators. They will consult us(the admins) if there is any need to. Do not think we do not want to talk to you, however, we will not take your complaints if they are constant.
The only time you should message an administrator is if you are being threatened and it is scaring you, or if you are having problems with something on the site, such as not being able to log in, or not being able to access something on the site.
If we are being PMed too much about minimal issues, we will warn you for the action. We are here to help you, however, we have other staff members for this sort of thing. If you need help, or have questions, please notify a moderator.
